Braintree District Arts


Are you ready ? It's less than a month until the beginning of the Cultural Olympiad events in Braintree!
Have you heard about Sparks will Fly yet ? Of course, BDA are making it happen big! And what is bigger than a Giant!
So there's going to be a Giants Arts Trail all round the District from about 20 th May to 10th June (ish)! 15 giants - Men, creatures, robots - the Trail has got the lot. Coggeshall, Halstead, Witham and Braintree will all have their own giants which have been made by community groups with the help of artist Dave Taylor.

We have brought F7 Festival forward to co-incide with the Olympiad and Jubillee - so watch out for the mass of events in the first week of June. (You can see info about individual events on their dates in the Diary) And then there's the Visitor - Boreas is processing around Braintree Town Centre on June 9th, ending up at the Party in the Park!
